Founded in 2017 after 10 years’ experience in the events and hospitality industry, Monks Media has been of service to numerous prestigious private clients and companies around South Africa, including Standard Bank, Beiersdorf, Pernod Ricard, Pepsico, and Edgars.

From corporate conferences, product launches, CSI campaign strategy to personal celebrations, my wealth of experience ensures that every event will not only deliver on impact but run like clockwork.

I offer full-scale creative, planning, production, and execution of all digital marketing campaigns and events, from creative concept proposals, venue and vendor sourcing, budget management, and full onsite execution and feedback reports. I strive to create campaigns and events that are based on my values of sustainability and support small businesses, choosing local suppliers with unique portfolios and who are masters at their craft.

My goal is to deliver unique content campaigns and events within any budget, working with each individual client to bring their vision to life.

I began working with Matriarch team as a special project consultant for their internal events and special projects through my business Monks Media, and soon began a contract position as an Event and Brand manger for companies such as Beiersdorf, Standard Bank, Edgars, and Pepsico; as well as various NGO initiatives.

My responsibilities included:

Project Manager

While working with the team at M-Pyre Events, I gained invaluable knowledge in project management - in particular the procurement of corporate sponsorship contracts. Working on a diverse range of projects for numerous clients not only strengthened my project management skills, but simultaneously solidified my belief that the way to overcome a challenge is not over or around it - but through it.

In addition, I came to understand that communication with clients on key deliverables is paramount to achieving outcomes so that both parties are happy with the final execution - particularly with regards to unrealistic client expectations with regards to budget and time frame.
